If you need some musical meditation, come chant with us on the Saturday at Oasis. Samadhi’s Rangadevi Dasi will lead a community kirtan, accompanied by friends, old & new.

Doors open at 7:15 p.m., and the chanting starts at 7:30! The cafe closes during the performance, which starts at 7:30 p.m. The event is free, but donations are graciously accepted by cash or Venmo.

What is Kirtan? :
Although the term kirtan is originally from India, we celebrate traditions from around the world that foster community gatherings centered around devotional call and response singing. Kirtan transforms the spirit, bringing us together, unifying our hearts and voices, sharing in the spirit. Because kirtan requires participation, WE NEED YOU!

This will be our 3rd UFO of God meet up, and, whoa, we have just been amazed by the turn out and the vulnerable sharing. It has been so powerful for all and we are humbled. This one is extra special energy because not only is it the Summer Solstice but it's also a Sagittarius full moon. Can't get much more heightened energy than that right?!

This meet up with focused on sharing in all capacities. We will begin with sharing our experiences new and recent, and we will open it up to sharing in overall themes and resources. We have found the more we share our stories, experiences and resources, the more magic, synchronicities, and mind blowing connections that arise. We are sharing in and building a community of like-minded people coming together to awaken the world at this time, and all that is required is that you just show up. No experience necessary but an open, kind heart required.

The horoscope for this full moon is perfect for this event: "The moon will be in Sagittarius, an adventurous and optimistic sign, and the sun, in opposition, will be in Gemini, highlighting themes of exploration, communication, and seeking truth."

About our Journey to Hosting These Events:

Most our lives we’ve known there is something more than just this physical reality we see in front of our eyes. We’ve sought the answers to this great mystery through many modalities, and although the mystery is nowhere near close to being solved, we feel that Chris Bledsoe and his family are illuminating an important piece of the great unknown. Our connection and relationship with Chris, his family, and the Bledsoe Said So community has inspired us to hold space for others to share in this energy and share their own experiences.

We attended Azalea Festival in Wilmington, NC this April 2025, and we got to know the Bledsoe Said So community by sitting at the booth during the day and experiencing the skywatches at night on the beach. We met so many kind, loving people that shared so openly about their own experiences and, of course, Chris and his family just have the most warm, welcoming energy. It was just an overall heart opening event. It was such an incredible energy and experience spending time with the Bledsoe's, and also just the whole community they are building. We were ready for more of that energy in our lives, so we decided to create these UFO of God meet ups to bring people together and we feel Oasis is the perfect fit for these gatherings.
