Most of her teas come from her family, but in some cases they are sourced from other farms that are all organic. Violet is truly passionate about teas and has a wide breadth of knowledge.

Tea is more than a drink—it’s a way to experience landscapes, forests, and cultures through your senses. During this guided tasting, I’ll brew a selection of teas using the traditional gongfu method while sharing their origins, stories, and what makes each one unique. While both have been chanting for years in separate endeavors, this will be their first time sharing call and response chanting together. With harmonium, guitar, harmonies, and open hearts we all will chant the holy names to share this ancient, uplifting practice.

This is an informal evening dedicated to playing improv games that will make you laugh til your face hurts, get you out of your head and into the moment, and bring joy to all our lives.

No experience needed but you will be expected to participate in at least one game if you join! New games are always welcomed!

Heart Songs Kirtan 

Join Darren Marc Levene and Noelle Whittington for a heart-opening evening of Kirtan. Rooted in the tradition of Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of love and devotion, Kirtan invites us to sing mantras that awaken inner-peace, joy, and the essence of our true spirit. No experience is necessary. Just bring your presence and an open heart. Together, we'll step in the 'bhav' (the mood of devotion) and unite in joyful singing and community connection. 

Bios

Darren Marc Levene is a kirtan artist who shares heart-centered devotional music at yoga studios, retreats, and festivals. His kirtans create a welcoming and uplifting space where everyone can participate, regardless of musical experience, and experience the joy of singing and connecting in community.

Noelle Whittington is an international yoga teacher, kirtan musician, and bhakti yogi known for weaving together mantra, music, and movement into deeply heart-centered experiences. A full-time instructor since 2006, she integrates vocal expression, harmonium, and devotional chanting into her offerings, guiding students toward greater freedom, connection, and self-expression.
