Roshana Ariel is a lifelong musician. Raised in a musical family, she began taking flute lessons in second grade, endured a couple years of piano lessons, and began playing in public soon after high school.
She started fiddling around with a fiddle and learned to play simple things on a keyboard in her 20s. She eventually became a songwriter, video creator, and graphic designer. More recently, she started creating songs with a looper. Her musical path has included many years of professional performing, as part of a duo in Texas and California and with a girl band in Hawaii, as well as solo gigs at parties, weddings, and churches.
Roshana takes it as an order for her life: stubbornly bring beauty, joy, and a sense of wonder to life and share it with others.
During the COVID pandemic, she created several music videos; they live on her YouTube channel (musicamusement.com). Now in Chapel Hill, she plays every Sunday at Unity Center of Peace.
